lips are back to normal, huzzah.
i am not that sunburned, either. this makes me much happy.
a girl came by the store on friday, looking for something to wear to wok that night...for the release of "The Deathly Hallows". omg.
we cooked cran-lemon-y 'shroomy chicken, and made shells with marinara and alfredo...and lots of riccota cheese. nummy.
phillip is a grand cook, he is.
drove to the family house, stayed the night.
santos, an old family friend, was getting married the next day. my brother was his best man, and was totally not prepared. *sighs* boys.
had a smallish breakfast, hung out with me dad...and took off for faire.
had to stop in cambria, to pick up a painting for shawn's parents. t'was a fun side shoot.
got to slow before 1pm, and proceeded to eat drink and be merry.
sampled some GREAT mead...Full Circle Brewing company...of Fresno; the pomegranate was my fave.
bought a great sarong, and shawn bought pants.
talked to a lot of really fun folks. ran into a guy that knew shawn, like 10 yrs. ago. nuts.
all in all, had a really great time. drove to kristine's old house in Oceano...took pics...and drove back up to my parents' house.
we stayed the night, and resumed the trip up here rather lazily.
so far, today has been mellow and groovy.
