the birthday party was a SUCCESS, even with the addition of having to call someone a ride. lovely.
got to hang out with my friend's kids, and play auntie for a bit. michele's daughter will be a hellion in 10 yrs. even at 3, she has that Look in her eye...of trouble and other such dangers. oh my.
stayed up til' 2am, crashed on the couch, so michele & shawn and the kids could take me room.
turned neighbor shawn and a friend of philip's onto KiltLifter. lordy loo, i am evil.
my shawn slept on the floor next to me, and was a wee bit hungover the next day. poor baby.
got up kind of early and went to the campbell games. t'was a great day. shopped, and ended up changing clothes in the middle of the day. originally had on an outfit of kristine's mom's...i've gotta dye one of the shirts, so that it will match a skirt i bought. woot!
met a lot of k's friends, and hung out all day. t'was great weather. just warm enough. sponsored by Moylan's, woohoo!!! so i had lots More KiltLifter. hoohah!
eventually, went to dinner and met up with grant to go see "fantastic four". the boyfriend was tired and not feeling well, so he didn't attend with us.
meh..it's ok. i wasn't greatly impressed. what was with the horrid makeup??? dear sweet baby jeezus.
we decided in the middle of it all, to hit up the Pirate Fair, today...
and so we Did!!! wow...i really would have never left if we didn't have to. great booths, great location...it was FREE. dude, how awesome is that?
La Gunitas Brewing company provided the beer. i got a Witches' Discount. woot!! superb!
watched Capt. Jack SpareRibs, and SeaDogs, and a few other fun folks. did more shopping. hung out and had a good time. saw more friend's of K's, but not as many as the day before. too bad that grant didn't make it up with us. oh well. c'est la vie.
planning for FaerieWorlds...tho that may not happen since it is the same weekend as SLO's faire. hmmm, the closer of the two sounds just like a better idea, me thinks.
kristine and i have more matching costuming, now. sweet!
bought brook a flag for her ship. i think she will love it. tis' too bad she couldn't make it to faire with us. she would have had such a great time.
i haven't had that much fun at Faire, in a lONG LONG time. *sighs*
i can't wait til' Golden Gate Park!!
