got ripped off on friday...but not as bad as could be. plus, when you get the items back virtually immediately, it kind of lessens the blow. but alas, i still wanted to come across the counter and beat the girl to a pulp.

just got "the heroic trio" and should be getting "battle royale" and "the suicide club" today.
worked a split yesterday. shawn picked me up, thank god, cuz we didn't get out of there til almost eleven.

jenny had trouble with a register, as well, so we were already frazzled and wanting to scream.

phillip has to be in at 8am, as well. wonder when he's going to get up. i've been up so long...

"Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" was as good as i thought it would be. honestly? "Hero" blows it away...and that's even with it's own little Tragic Love story...blech on tragic love stories.

i'm so glad to off tomorrow, so i can relax, before the concert. there's so much i need to do...argh.
paying bills when you get your Refund check is NICE.

shawn and i decided that tiah and tony's wedding gift will be matching kimonos. woohoo! plus, i'm going to get tiah a rosary from AntiSally.
i think she'd really like that.

there's so much i wanted to send with this one for T&T, but i guess i'll send them separate.
Their wedding announcement came as a postcard, with a photo of tiah coming out of a kind of medieval doorway, and tony doing this "HEY BABY!!" finger point/snaps at her. lol. they are too cute.
i love that the first thing that people say when they see a picture of Tiah is how beautiful she is.
they are Stunned. as they should be.

I'm doing okay - been in kinda a strange funk, feelin' aimless, but i'm sure it just has to do with being slightly sickies.
I know how you feel about wanting to leap over the counter and beat holy hell out of people at work - thankfully my job encourages trash-talking about customers after they've left the store or I would've been hauled in for assault a good half dozen times by now.
Let me know how Battle Royale is - its on my queue too and I can't wait to see it.
