I got mine when I was 17 (underage, but they did not ask me for ID) in New Jersey. I thought I could hide it from my parents, but being the stupid teenager I was, forgot I had a bandage wrapping it when I came to them in a tee shirt. It was just an eagle with my initials. My mom was so pissed, she wouldn't speak to me for 2 weeks! She is very conservative and believed that only low class people had tattoos. As I told her, I just proved her wrong. Two years later I was in Rhode Island and the guy convinced me to cover it up with a larger eagle that "was swooping down into the sunset" Basically it is just a big black mass with a tiny bit of yellow around the beak. (That must be the sunset). Totally regret that one. My other 7 I love. Not quite sure how to fix the big black blob after all these years. I am itching for a new one to commemorate my father who passed away a couple years ago. I am thinking of a decent sized cross, maybe a celtic design, on my side. Any ideas?
