God gave us kids Sonic Youth, but we were too uneducated to care by then. I think they got it in England. Sonic Youth and the Pixies. They actually PAY their teachers over there. Meanwhile, we were over here listening to Jesus Jones and Crash Test Dummies.

Also, please don't dis The Strokes. I know it's tempting, but, the record is fucking great and they compliment hardcore drug and alcohol use like no one's business. Just when your lame party is crapping out, put on Is This It? and I promise, veins will be spiked, lines will be snorted and Maker's will be shotgunned. Yay!!
