Today, I was waiting impatiently for a care package from the love of my loins, but it never came. Tomorrow, for sure. Instead, two copies of the new Yo La Tengo cd came and two copies of a Yo La Tengo Christmas ep. I have no clue who sent them, but thanks!

Geez, at this rate you'll bel lucky to get it by your birthday! It wasn't intended to be a b-day surprise, but it just might, courtesy of Canada Post. Dorks. I can just picture the postal dudes, sitting around in their touques, drinking beers, watching the Mackenzie bros. skits and talking about hockey... "what should we do with this stuff, guys?"
"uuuh, i dunno. maybe we should put it out by the curb. somebody'll come'n pick it up. no wait. is there anything to eat in there?"
