Well, New Years eve was pretty boring for me, chilled on the couch for most of the evening, woke up at 10 to midnight, caught the ball drop on MTV, then went back to to sleep. Drove down to PDX New Years day to hang with friends. Got incredibly drunk on the 2nd, also smoked way to much herb if that is possible. Drove back up to Federal Way for work on Friday. Things went downhill from there. Always remember to take caution on wet floors my new motto. Was outside reprogramming an irate customers alarm, finished up went running back inside slipped came crashing down on left foot, heard crack,felt severe pain, and could not put any pressure on it. Xrays confirmed, I had broken my last pinky toe bone under the bridge of my foot in three places. Shouldn't require surgery, but it hurts like hell. The Vicadin helps , but won't last too much longer So here I am hoping things won't get any worse, I am off today out side of a stupid conferance call I have to be on at 2 today. I am thinking that if I stay inside under blankets and read and watch movies all day, I can avoid any other misfortunes. Time will tell. I was up until saturday super stoked about getting to go snowboarding for the first time this year on Thursday, but sadly that won't be happening, and more than likely I will be out for the rest of the season from what other people have told me about foot fractures, I guess they take a long time to heel......no pun intended...oh wait yeah it was intended. I still have a sense of humor though. I got tired of people asking me how I broke my foot, and me telling them that basically I did it walking really fast. So, I think I may go with a more interesting story, perhaps I broke it saving some orphans from a burning building. Good? I think so. Well I guess that's all my whining for now.
