So here I am, at a KOA Campground sleeping my truck. My dad, uncle, aunt, cousin and, his daugther are sleeping their motor home. I decided to drive down here on a whim. Luckily my truck has a huge cab, and I am short, so it works out well. We are near Seaside and the Fort Stevens state park. We are going to go to Fort Clatsop tomorrow, so I can see how Lewis and Clark discovered the Pacific. Good times and about the 50th time I've been there. Yet it's still fun.........and educational! It will be my cousin's daughter's first time there which will be cool. I am also stoked about getting to hang out with my dad. I am finding that as I grow older I miss getting to hang out with him. Ah growing older. This weekend is my ten year high school reunion. It's going to start out at a bar on friday night, dinner on saturday, and picnic on sunday. I think itwill be fun. I grew up in The Dalles, a small town 86 miles east of Portland in the Columbia river gorge. My class was small, so I knew most everybody, but I only kept in touch with a few friends,and even it's rare that I see any of them. Jeremy Piven in Gross Pointe Blank saying, "Ten years man! Ten years!" keeps playing my head. Nice thing about sleeping in my truck is having cd player with MP3 capabillity. Modest Mouse, Postal Service, and Pavement to lull me to sleep. I did turn my sub off as that would keep everyone up. I need to hurry up and get my screens and xbox installed. After doing that stuff all day at work it's hard to motivate myself to work on my own truck. Oh well. Tonight my cousin had to cruise to the restrooms so we could grab a smoke as our parents don't know we smoke, or at least they would not approve. We then stealthly smoked a joint by the campfire after the rent' went to bed. This campground holds special meaning for us as we used to come to this KOA and rent these basic log type cabins we would do acid, write song, play guitar,as all these families camped around us. That also was about ten years ago. Time, where does it go? It's nice that my cell phone flips open to a qwerty keyboard, but it is still small. So I must end this. Fairwell for now. Cheers!!!
