Okay, I have been really really lazy with updates lately. Mostly becasue onceI get on the computer I havent the ability to focus long enough for a coherant thought,
This weekend past:
I was at ICON all weekend. It is a scifi convention at SUNY stony brook long island. This year I was staff. I did my best to help with the volunteer track.(we were the ones who placed all the walk in volunteers) But it seemedmMost of the time I wasnt that usefull. Not that I didnt do anything. Rather everything was under control and I wasnt needed.
The con itself was pretty cool. Not as panel heavy as the other cons I go to. But it was rather stressfull working the desk. I had my first drink since November. I did however run into a girl I have only talked to on AOL. She was really sweet and really cute. And the meeting was totally unexpected.
There was however one problem. HORMONES. Whenever you get several thousands geeks together, there is gonna be some loving going on. After all, where else do we get a good shot at sex? So, despite my best efforts, I did not get laid. And, I had 3, count them THREE potentials. This does not normally happen to me. As such I was very proud of myself. But, 3 strikes and you are out!!!! (2 of them are still potenial though, and rather cute!)
I spent only about a hundred this year. VERY VERY odd for me. First time I have been to a con and not bought RPG books. Now, considering I have about 3 1/2 at home that I havent read yet, this is not a bad thing. But what did I buy you ask?? HENTAI! HENTAI! HENTAI! You can never have enough hentai.
The girls were much more attractive this year. There was this one girl working the Novablade.com booth...drool.....thick, long wavvy black hair, pale pale skin, curvy in all the right places, and the cutest voice.....I am in love....I was just staring at her from across the room. Lord, what I would do...
There was also a very very cute and attractivre girl dressed as Squall from Final Fantasy VIII. She turned out to be 16, but man what a body. Nice girl to. but alas, 16.
So, the morals of the con is this: "DO not let your hormones ruin it for you." and: "You can NEVER have enough Hentai." And "con going goth girls LOVE Voltaire (not the SG, the musician artist one)"
