hoorah for me!!!!!!!!!! i'm finished uni for the year!
i finish my last crit for my video piece. its called the myth of sisyphus. albert camus this french existentialist guy wrote this essay called the myth of sisyphus. in it he talks about this greek legend of sisyphus who pissed off the gods so they punished him by making him perpetually push a boulder up a hill only to have it roll back down when he reached the top. camus uses this for metaphor life. anyway i was going up this ramp at a train station that went forever and thought this so sisyphean. so basically it's one long shot going up a ramp, looped. the rubbish that passes for art these days. gone are the days of avant-garde modernist art hero. anyway it got a good reception. i'll post it on my website.
