Thank you everyone for your well wishes.
I just had the week from hell! I know there are other people that have things a lot worse than me, but I don't handle stress well at all.
My brother had had a migraine for 8 days so I took him to the ER. They gave him a shot of something which he had a bad reaction to. As soon as I got him to my place I had to take him back to the hospital. He was in for 4 days...but he's better now.
My best friend called me to tell me that they had to put one of their dogs to sleep. I had know this dog for 10 years, since she was a baby...and it was a sudden thing, she hadn't been sick. She had a ruptured disk in her back that had gotten into her blood stream and clotted so she was paralyzed from the middle of her back down.
My mother in law was put in the hospital because one of the stents in her heart collapsed. She's better now.
I was told that the office I work at will be closing at the end of April. I just got this job in Nov. after being laid off from my other job of 7 years in June when they closed their office. Horrible dejavu. They said some of the people will keep their jobs and work from home...but we don't know who.
Then they tell me that they finally got the files for the work in MD so I have to leave tomorrow to go work in MD for 2 weeks. This means I will have to miss bike week and my first anniversary. (I had vacation days planned but they took them back because this work has to be done now.)
So since I probably won't be able to find a computer up there you won't hear from me for another 2 weeks.
