I know I have said this before, but I hate stoners. Really a lot. Coworker S. found out she was pregnant last week and has since tried to call in sick 3 of 4 days she was scheduled to work. She also has gotten increasingly snippy with children who are too rough near her. Both are caused by her trying to protect the health of her baby in the first trimester. Cool.
However, this new mommy is, according to seperate sources (including my boss), also running a small pot operation in her apartment with no plans to stop. Boo.
Also, this person has actively tried to recruit other staff members into her operation with the lure of a decent living wage, with some success. Recruited staff members have lost all interest in their teaching jobs which pays them far less than getting trustifarians high. This makes work fun, as those of us not cool enough to be asked to sell weed are the only ones who do any actual work anymore.
I wait in vain for firings that are never going to come.
