So in the middle of a totally depressing day (coversations/thoughts about: the Holocaust, Rwanda, causes of death in the civil war, Virginia Tech, Latin American death squads, etc.) I had one of the more odd interactions I have had with a stranger in my life.
A guy and girl walked up to me, at which point the girl asked a bunch of random questions. She then proceeded to say, "I hope this isn't too weird, but I just wanted to tell you that I felt like god was telling me that you were his princess, and he just wants to dress you in the finest clothes and put you on his lap and hug you and kiss you and he just loves you so much. That's kind of weird, right?" Umm. . . yeah.
I was speechless--and then they just kind of walked away. I have a theory that they were doing some sort of study (they asked what year and major I was), but everyone else I have talked to thinks they were just trying to spread the Christ-love. The princess-kissing Christ-love.
People are weird.
