It feels good to be back in NY. The weather this evening is so nice. I just walked around most of lower Manhattan. I really enjoy people watching (the bands, all the great clothes, the two guys walking around in short dresses in the Village, the hot women everywhere, the noise and the general activity). I feel lucky to be here. And isn't amazing that its such a small big city that you can bump into people everytime you walk around. I don't think I've ever spent an evening in Manhattan when I didn't run into at least one person I know. 
On more of a bummer note, I had to delay the next round of needle work. A friend called me yesterday and asked if I could be in his wedding in Virginia in June. It just so happens it is the same weekend I had my tattoo appointment scheduled. Now I have to wait until July. But its more important to support my friends anyway. I've known him since he and I were 4 years old so I couldn't say no.
I'm headed to the Gunks to go rock climbing tomorrow and can't wait. Its been way too long. Have a great weekend everyone.
