Well it's Valentine's Day here. I'm never sure what to think on this day. It has become another commercial "holiday" in which everyone is expected to participate. The media gives you the message you SHOULD participate and that you need to purchase lots of things. I guess I have a problem with that. I think you should celebrate the love you have for someone throughout the year and maybe if you want to participate just do something extra nice on Valentine's Day (or Dia dos Namorados if you are in Brazil). Because it has become so commercial it makes a lot of people sad. Those who are forgotten, don't get any cards, candy, jewelry, iPods or even an email, or don't have someone with whom to celebratel feel they have been slighted or left out.
So for all those of us who won't be celebrating and all my friends out there who don't have anyone to tell them Happy Valentine's Day - HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY and a big hug.

I also agree with you that we should appreciate everyone the whole year round...not just one day. I think its pathetic someone could feel so good about themselves after doing a nice thing for their partner, when most likely they treat them like shit the rest of the year. Oh well...thats life.
And even though its two days late...hope your vday went well.
