although my family seems to be somewhat indestructible, great grandpa roger died at 99. i didn't really know him well, never lived close to him, and the last time i saw him was so long ago the only thing i remember about him was that he had on mismatched shoes. however, he did great things in his life, so i wish him luck in that great big breakdance battle in the sky. i'm not religious. that's the best i can manage.



weekend was chaotic. meant to stay in on friday and ended up in the subterranean levels of a club fending off a zombie. saturday found me in chicago. closed out the night with a combination of the robot and the hustler at smartbar. fixed the aftermath of saturday on sunday with an hour long massage and work on fasttracker and shots of vodka with chandon. i hate shots. i prefer to drink for pleasure, not annihilation. except maybe tonight. i feel like a bastard for never writing my grandparents.
