-resume rockstar update-
our one year anniversary show was friday. everyone ended up covered in duct tape with l337 speak written all over in permanent marker. i was exhausted but i still managed to bounce around and attend to sound issues, alcohol, and all the regular stuff. throwing experimental shows for a whole year without going broke is something i think i'm proud of.
saturday was too hot to even move so i played zelda until it was time to go BACK to the club and take down the huge plant net (the place was super junglistic). after that, off to milwaukee for the show @ onopa. the bartender that yelled at me the last time i played there was actually nice, so either he didn't remember me or he was over his whole pissy episode and decided i needed free drinks. there were TOO many people i knew and i became overstimulated so i left to go to the cirlce a and see what tom was playing. sat with a rather nice crew and had my jack on the rocks in the lovely air conditioning. ben and i drove back to onopa and i mostly stayed outside while hrvatski was playing, due to the interior being perhaps 200 degrees. ben and darryl and i ended up going back to the a near closing and bounced around like fkkin madpeople past closing, somehow deciding that cans of schlitz should be consumed. went to michael and darryls and ended up mainly sitting outside til probably five or so continuing to marinate my liver. ended up at joey and bens house cracking open 2 bottles of wine at six or seven in the morning...as per usual lately, conversation eventually turned to gamecube and anti-zombie legislature. fell asleep around eight, perhaps, woke up at one. darryl was nice enough to give me a ride back to madison.
m@ made me dinner, i'd only had one (tiny) meal the whole weekend and was loopy. took back videos, got some new ones, watched the 25th hour and then didn't fall asleep. stared at the ceiling for awhile, and next thing i know i'm stumbling towards work and it's monday.
took a 4 day break from computers. i enjoyed it.
