The girl at the desk next to me brings in her lunch everyday and at 11:30am without fail she is tucking into it. Most days it smells really bad but today it looks like she is having a meat pie with tomato sauce and it smells amazing. Now the last thing i feel like doing is having a meat pie - i hate them - they leave a really awful furry feeling on the roof of your mouth - but for some reason the scent of her meat pie is bringing back memories of when i was in Primary school and i would order party pies from the tuck shop/canteen for 20 cents each -they were soooo good. That was before i actually learnt what went into meat pies. Ahhhh they were the days - Party Pies and Sunny Boys for lunch.
Now i'm off to heat up my bowl of roast vegies for lunch - wathcing the muffin tops after my country xmas feast.
Ive just been checking out the NYBMA website - they are holding Cycle Messenger World Championships in NYC in about six months. I wanna go with mah man! It would be so much fun. I love NYC! I'm going to look into it and see if i can make it happen!
