So................here is another weekend update, brought to you in part by, well, me. It was yet another eventful weekend, some things fun, others not so fun. I will focus on the fun aspects. So Saturday, I hit up downtown LA and Hollywood to do some shopping for burning man. I can't believe that it is only two and a half weeks away. I am so excited! In the garment district, I found this bitchin' gothic fairy wings,lots and lots of cheap fishnets, blinking naked lady lights, and good fabric. From there, it was on to goodwill..........where I found a trashy jack daniels shirt, trashy lingerie, and some other interesting things. I always love going to goodwill, especially when you find something that just makes you cringe. You know what I'm talking about...........that thing that you just can't believe anyone would design, let alone buy. I tried on a shoulder-padded dress that looked like something that was straight out of a bel-biv-devoe video. My friends kept trying to talk me into getting it, but I wouldn't bend for the $15 price tag. I also found a gangster rap coloring book!! It is so funny/awesome! I will take it with me to burning man, and see what kinds of colors people use on these gangsters. Here's EZ:
(I love the frames that they put in) It's about time. I've always been kind of pissed off that I've had to color bears and barbies, when all this time who I really wanted to color is Tupac. hah.
Later that night, I went to an upscale club in the OC. This was a truly frightening experience. Definitely one that had to involve alcohol to make it tolerable. You would have never caught me there if it hadn't been my friend's birthday. The things we do for our friends!. Thankfully, in a little room in the back, there was a dj playing 80's and 80's rock. That night a dj did save my life.......and I danced my ass off. It was like night at the Roxbury, with groups of guys trying to hump our legs, and using lines like "Ladies, Ladies, Ladies......looking good!" and "yo girl! you got it going on!" It astounds me that these yuppy pretty boys can pull chicks this way. I guess if you say it enough times, some one is gonna go for it..........

My internet is out again, so it's more being a perv looking at naked chicks in the coffee shop for me until I get this thing situated
