I feel much better. I'm stoked to be moving.
My room's half-packed, so it looks a little foreign and unwelcoming.
Yesterday I gave away my tv - I never watched it anyways, so I don't miss it - it just felt really good to get it out of my room and away from my life.
Joe and I have three songs of our five song set decided on: Ain't No Sunshine (Bill Withers), Cain (Patty Griffin) and Old Love (Eric Clapton). Two more to go.
Good thing summer is just long enough to recharge and get stoked about school again. I won't say I can't wait, but I am excited to be in class soon.
I love NPR music at night, even though the NPR down here is pretty weak. It still gives the night a nice fluid feel.
The search for a good dance joint is on... we may actually go this time. It's just hard to get a night when everyone's off the next day. I'm open to suggestions.
I felt really good today, inside and out. Maybe your mind doesn't have as much control over matter as we'd like to believe - I think my body decided to be sick so it could lie in bed for two days.

P.S. Ain't no Sunshine is a great choice. There is so much emotion in that song.
