So.. it turns out this Chile is not going to be happening within the next year. I'm a little bummed, but I can't deny that I am relieved in many ways, too.

Another excuse to try a new beer anyway.

Going to look at studio apartments tomorrow, so that's exciting. I was thinking about picking up another job for the rest of the summer, but then I figured that working at a job for a month is pretty lame. So I won't.

holy cow my room is a mess - I think I'm just going to give half of my belongings to the Salvation Army next week - unless anyone in SD has a need for a ginormous, *heavy* television dressed as a dust bunny.

Dancing has been postponed to next week to make room for charred meat, chips and beer. Which is kinda good since I've just noticed that I'm without a good dancing ensemble. I always have to take a girlfriend with me when I go shopping for "club" clothes, because I always dress too conservatively and then feel like a dweeb when I get there.

Hopefully I'm not underestimating the trashyness of my new lady friends.
