Like I blogged yesterday, I met Glen Matlock from The Sex Pistols. Still kind of blown away by it.
I have met a lot of musicians in my life. I've worked with some people I was a huge fan of. But The Sex Pistols are a band I never thought I would have an encounter with.
Glen played a couple Pistols songs and ended with Pretty Vacant. I was smart enough to record it.
I haven't been going out as much in the last week because of the stupid weather. Snow just makes me want to lounge in my pajamas all day and do nothing much of anything. I kind of hate it because I feel like a bum and it also leaves me to do a lot of thinking. Which sucks. And it makes me miss some people more than I should....
Saturday I stayed up until 6:30 am talking to my old best friend. Its crazy that we kind of grew apart for about 3 years (nothing dramatic just our lives went in opposite directions) but when we talk now its as if we never stopped talking. I miss her.
Tomorrow I am pretty sure I get to see a band I am in love with, Four Year Strong. If it works out I might be the happiest girl ever. I have never seen them before.
