Thanks to psyko514's advice I have a power adapter for my laptop!

Sadly that wasnt the only thing wrong with it.
I plugged it in and it worked for about 5 minutes and shut off, weird.
Turned it back on and i heard a sizzling noise. So obviosuly I shut it off and unplugged it.
Called the bf in to show him teh sound and when I plugged it back it it smoked!
So, i am assuming that its the piece where i plug into the computer thats broke and the battery is fucking up to.
I guess its time it goes to visit a computer doctor haha

Hopefully it wont cost me a lot.
I miss my computer.

Ah well, I have decided to try and save up to buy a brand new laptop anyways.
