I had a good weekend.
I got off work an hour early on Friday to be able to make it to a wedding on time. One of my friends from my old hockey team got married, so I got to see all of the old team.
It was great being able to get caught up with them all, especially since I hadn't hung out with them since I got injured 2 years ago.
After the reception, I headed up to Underground. Not that busy of a night, but it was still worth the trip.
Saturday I went to a gathering and got to hang out with infAMY75, her roommate & friends, andd_day. It was lots of fun... and entertaining watching Amy's friend try to get guys to drop their pants in the bar. Didn't work so well though.
Sunday, I went to see the new Harry Potter movie. It was a decent adaptation of the book and didn't jump around like the 5th movie did. Definitely one of the better films of the series.
Now I'm trying to get through mountains of work over the next 3 days so I can head down to Comic Con on Wednesday. It's going be some tough days, but will be well worth it once I get to San Diego. I'll be bringing my laptop with me so I can keep posting new stuff every day... as long as I can find an internet connection to shanghai.
