Wow, this past weekend was a bit more active than I planned.
Friday work was pretty crazy. A couple of employees left early to get some studying in for their finals this week. But I still had to make time to leave the office and get our stuff from the conference. Things were so hectic I didn't get out until the afternoon and back to the office with 20 minutes left in the day. At that point I decided to just do nothing until 5:00pm.
Then Underground came around to begin my friend Barrie's birthday celebration.
We had our own little party there with all the regulars... AND it wasn't even all that crowded so it felt like our own private party.
Saturday I was planning to use to get some rest and a few things done around the apartment, but other plans came into play. I ended up meeting up with Barrie and some other club friends in LA for dinner and then off to a small theater to see puppet porn... yes, you heard me right... PUPPET... PORN. Just think of the muppets gone VERY wrong... highly amusing.
Sunday, I met up with the same group of people to spend the day at Disneyland. At first it appeared that it might be really crowded but once we got inside, it actually wasn't that bad. We were able to get on all the cool rides. Plus, we entertained ourselves by smuggling in some vodka and kept mixing it with all the slushies that we bought. Yes, lots of fun. 
Then when we finally broke for dinner late at night, Barrie experienced her first earthquake. It was quite amusing watching the non-Californians freaking out. Unfortunately, most of the rides were shut down after the quake because all the tracks needed to be inspected for any possible damage. So after a while we decided to call it a night.
Getting up for work this morning was extremely difficult. At some point this week, I'll need to find a point to catch up on some rest.
