A bit of an early update for the weekend... just killing some time.
Had to work another hockey game Thursday night. The team actually played like a REAL TEAM... for the first 2 periods. They had a 3-0 lead going into the 3rd and decided to try and sit on it. LEt's just say they almost blew it and the goalie saved their ass. We managed to pull out another win.
Underground was yet another amazing night last night. Anthony's "girlfriend" (I have no idea what they are) showed up with a friend of hers that was visiting town. She's only been there once before and she's already showing it to friends... this is how cool this place is.
She was a little nervous about doing it but once she saw me, she was like "I'm so glad you're here so I know someone else who can help show my friend here how fun the club is." So I ended up playing host to the two of them... not that I minded because Anthony's girl is cool and her friend was cute. Anthony showed up a little later after seeing some band playing earlier that night.
Yes, it was a good night.
Today Anthony and I are just gonna chill at Disneyland since it's been a while since we did that... we just decided that last night on our way back to the cars. I might have to bail early on that if a co-worker calls because I promised her that I would help her with a computer problem she was having... and I alway make good on my promises. Not that I'm expecting her to... Southern Californians tend to develop this flakey mentality that cause them to never do what they say they are going to do. Now not all of them, but a good portion of them for me to take notice of it. I refuse to be that way.
Tomorrow is Super Bowl Sunday... not that I'm a huge football fan or anything. I like watching it from time to time, but I don't follow any team. But the Super Bowl means one main thing for me... I get my taxes done. My friend's dad is my accountant and we all converge their house to get our taxes done before the game, during half-time or after the game. Plus my friend's younger brother is in culinary school, so he makes all kinds of good snacks. It's kind of become a tradition now for the past 3 years.
