HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
It turned out to be a good night last night. The club had a decent turnout, but not too crowded which is exactly how I like it. Got to see some old friends I hadn't seen in a while and of course some of my regular friends. Now I normally don't get dressed up... it's just not me. But New Year's Eve I make the exception... mostly because some of my friends nag me into it.
So this is what I chose this year.

The two bands that played were pretty good. I've heard The Blood Arm before... mainly since they played last New Years, and they were just as good as before. We Are The World were actually pretty interesting. They have a nice sound but mix their live act with a dance performance art sort of thing. I got hit with many handfulls of glitter from a few of my friends. One should remember something... hide the bags of glitter confetti from drunk girls. I mean this stuff was everywhere... I had to take a shower when I got home just to get it all off of me.
I was expecting to be sick as a dog today. Tuesday I was slowing getting a sore throat and it was a bit worse yesterday morning and going into the evening. But I was willing to suck it up and have a good night anyways. Well, after I got home, the soreness was completely gone and I feel totally fine today. Like I was never getting sick... weird.
So now I'm going to lay low and just hang out at home today. Get some rest in for a change.
