Such a late night last night...
I had organized this whole thing for everyone in my office to go watch a taping of The Big Bang Theory. Now when the idea was first brought up by my friend who works on the show, I checked with everyone with the night and time is shoots and they were all ok with it. So I put things in motion and get a day, let them all know that I need their full spelling of their names (for ID check purposes) and they can invite a guest whose name I would need as well so I could submit it to my friend to reserve their seats. One by one, they all came up with excuses as to why they couldn't go... most of which were classes on Tuesday nights... which I first told them it filmed on Tuesday night before I took it to this step.
In the end it came down to just me and one other co-worker. She was still completely excited about going... until 2 1/2 hours before it was time to leave... suddenly she isn't feeling well and thinks she should go home and rest instead. 
So I end up going on my own... screw them all, I was on my way to have some fun. The taping was great. It started with the season premiere which doesn't even air until this upcoming Monday.
Afterwards I took off to hang out at a bar/club in Hollywood were a bunch of my friends hang out at on Tuesday nights. My friend that helped set up the whole taping thing showed up later where we both discussed thoroughly how much the people at my office sucked. Then I came up with an idea... Charlie Sheen had a small one line cameo on the show. Now everyone at my office knows that I know a few people who work on the show, so I came up with the story that I spent part of the time hanging out with Charlie thanks to one of my other friends. My bud thought it was the perfect revenge and was SO behind the lie. 
So I tell everyone at work today my story and they were like "Holy Shit!?!?!" "You mean we could have met Charlie Sheen?" So I'm still playing with the lie and quietly laughing to myself.
Now I just need to make sure I catch up on some sleep tonight so I don't die before the weekend.
Oh, I almost forgot... I got the confirmation phone call about the hockey job. They want me to come in for the 1st preseason game next week Monday to make sure we get all the kinks out before the regular season starts. I'm so stoked.
