Today I was informed that I'm going to attend a conference tomorrow. Yes, it was my idea to try this one out, but my boss usually likes to go to these things. She feels she's just to busy to do it so off I go.
The up side... I don't have to be there until 12:30pm and I don't have to go into the office at all tomorrow.
The down side... I have to wear the dreaded suit and tie, I have to schmooze with our clients who I hate talking to, and I might not get out of there until 7:00pm.
It's a bit of a trade off that doesn't seem too much in my favor, but being out of the office and a bit of a change of pace does have it's merits.
