Strangely I've been tired this weekend. Not sure why.
Friday I took off to Underground early. Mostly because a friend of mine on the opposite side of LA needed a ride and she offered me a meal as well. So why not.
But that also meant getting back extra late because I had to take her home first. Even so, it was still a fun night at the club. Some old friends I haven't seen in a while showed up and it was good getting re-aquainted. What was really funny was that my friend I gave a ride that night had met another old club friend of mine at Coachella the weekend before. My circles of friends are beginning to overlap more and more... it's so weird.
Saturday I paid a visit to my friend's grandmother because it was her birthday. Well, she feeds me every Thursday night so she has earned a special place in my heart. I bought her a quilting pattern book since that is what she loves to do. She was so excited to see the book and spent the following hour thumbing through it. I can only imagine what she's going to create now.
This morning I had to do some more birthday shopping. It's one of those birthday conglomerate times for my family. There were 5 people I had to buy for... who's birthdays are all within a week span. I need to get all this stuff in the mail tomorrow... yes, they will be late but better late than never. Then I went and saw Iron Man... I HIGHLY recommend this movie to people. I was very impressed and am looking forward to potential movies that could spin off of this. Lastly, I managed to do a little cleaning... not as much as I wanted to, but still I did say I have been unusually tired this weekend. Maybe I'll get more done during the week.
