Wow... why am I so tired this weekend?
So here's how things went down these past few days...
Thursday I went to hang out with my second family here. I hadn't seen them since before Christmas so I felt I should.
Then Friday (my sudden day off) I couldn't get a sub job. It was weird, I've been getting calls all week but the day I'm free to do it... nothing. Well, at least I had a day off.
Then that evening I went to some friends apartment for a dinner party they were having. These new friends from New Years have really turned into some good friends.
Then after the party we all piled into a car and went to Underground to continue the fun for the night. THEN afterwards we went back to their place and hung out until 5am.
Saturday I was supposed to go out and meet some friends at a bar, but due to being hung over and exhausted I pretty much stayed home on the couch.
Today I made a trip out into the real world to go see Cloverfield. I knew it would be a 1st person point of view type of film BUT I was told it wasn't as bad as Blair Witch. Boy, were they wrong... I HATE that 1st person point of view/hand held camera crap. I have such a headache now. Don't get me wrong... the story was good, but it could have been shown a different way that wasn't a hand held cam. After that I've done some minor cleaning around here. I just found out I have A LOT more to do later this week because a friend has finally confirmed that he his coming down this weekend to visit. Truthfully, I was kind of hoping he'd change his plans like he always did in the past. It took so long for him to confirm with me that I made plans to go to a BBQ in San Diego on Saturday. Now I have to find a way to work things out... grrr, why can't things be simple?
I'll be pulling the lonely shift at work tomorrow... just me and hopefully quiet phones.

I'm not a fan of the first person thing either; cameras that move all over the place drive me NUTS.
