So neil gaiman's coming to town sep 22 and I can't seem to get anyone to go see him. (*sigh*) How can people know they're already busy 2 mos in advance? Oh well back to the new Harry Potter...

just got back from a job interview in Wisconsin. I'll find out tomorrow if I made it. Got to see my friends Shawn & Kerry and also got to see Batman Begins and Mr. and Mrs. Smith. That coupled with seeing Howl's last friday and a digital screening of SW the sunday before that makes 4 films in 2 weeks!

Had a great start to the weekend. Last night I saw the City Lit adapt P.G. Wodehouse's "Pigs Have Wings" one of the Blanding's Castle stories. After that we hung out at neo for a while. A deer ran into my car! Both are (probably) fine. My car just has a slight dent in the driver's door and the deer ran off in apparent safety. I wasn't going very fast but it just came out of nowhere. There're a few forest preserves nearby but this was a bit more of an urban area that the poor thing had wandered into.

Saw New Order last night at The Aragon. Great show! We weren't sure what their set list would be like but they ended up playing a good set of hits with more Joy Division (radio, love will, & atmoshphere) than I expected.

Did my good deed for the day by driving a girl (who was brave enough to ask a total stranger for help and get into his car) around the parking lot til she found her car.

Did my bad deed for the day by having my first, of what will probly be many, Shamrock Shake at McDs.

I find I only go to Borders now if they have some sorta coupon that they've e-mailed me. I went to Borders today . They sent me a 25% off Borders Coupon (good 'til 2/10) and i bought, of all things, Wil Wheaton's Just A Geek and promptly read half of it.
