Today, I went to the local Mitsuwa Market where they had their summer festival (natsu matsuri.)
they had karate demos,
taiko drummers,
and did the bon odori (dance of the dead.)
Everyone just danced in a big circle around a central stand. Anyone was allowed to participate. The whole thing was pretty cool.
Last night I saw CM Punk wrestle his last show for ROH. When he came to the ring he knelt in the center and people threw in streamers and gave him a standing ovation before the match.
It was a very emotional moment.
He's been called up to WWE and I wish him luck. I'd never seen ROH before but it was a great show with more energy than anything except that ECW ppv a few months back.
