No Use In Crying Over Spilled Milk

His and Her Circumstances:
I uploaded this but it didn't make it into the last post. The picture was a bit too blurry but here they are: the wedding couple as they left the ceremony.

At the wedding, because I had done drawings for them, I was considered a member of the wedding party and got a gift bag. Chris also wrote me a heartfelt letter proclaiming his thanks and that he'd return the dvd boxed set of His and Her Circumstances (Kare Kano) that I'd lent him years ago. Still unwatched. Unfortunately last year they re-released it cheap ($35 instead of the original $100) so I just bought another one and watched it all again. I didn't have the heart to tell him on his wedding day though. It's a really good high school drama from Gainax (Evangelion, FLCL) so watch it if you don't mind that sorta stuff.

You've got Corn Dog in my Chocolate!
The after dinner snackery at the wedding included a chocolate fountain with dipping items and later mini-steak sandwiches, mini-corn dogs and chicken fingers. As we were leaving, Larry, Sarah and I grabbed some corn dogs to go. Larry noticed the chocolate fountain and wondered... I decided to join him and we dipped our corn dogs. It sounds strange but was actually quite good.

Feedback is the Breakfast of Champions:
Saturday at noon we had breakfast at Egg Harbor in Yorktown. I thought it was going to be just the group of immediate friends (maybe 10 at most) but it ended up being around 25. Chris and Sarah paid for the entire thing when they shouldn't have, especially after the wedding. So I was petty and told Chris about buying another Kare Kano. "I didn't have the heart to tell you on your wedding day but..."

So's Yer Mother!
Afterwards ran some errands, including a run to deep discount: Vanity Fair starring Reese Witherspoon, Johhny To's Election, D.O.A - Dead or Alive (yes the one I and like 5 other people saw in the theater last year - jiggly fun. That one), and Two for the Road starring Audrey Hepburn and Albert Finney. Then to Naperville where I spent the day with Mom. Mom had just separated from Dad and I treated her to dinner at Key Wester and then we watched Vanity Fair. We talked about a lot of stuff including the separation and she seems to be doing fine.

No Use In Crying Over Spilled Milk:
Monday we had guests: Matt's co-workers, Carla and Heather, from Indiana. Matt bought snacks including a big glass gallon of Oberwise (sp) milk. When he set the groceries down the bottle tipped on the counter and CRASH! You've got glass in my milk! You've got glassy milk on my floor! Mmmm. More cleaning.

WAR! What is it good for? Absolutely Everything!
Advance Wars: Days of Ruin came out for the DS today. This series is easily my favorite game series. I still play Spann Island on Advance Wars DS as a five minute battle thingy about once a day. (I can beat it in 6 days using skills, 10 without.) They changed the story, no more Orange Star, Black Hole or any of that. Apart from that, powers are greatly reduced but it's still the same system.

Carla was the Prom-Queen
Almost quit yesterday but I got to do some work with TargetGiRL who I find distractingly gorgeous. Like, I'm afraid I'm going to walk into walls when she's around gorgeous. Still slightly angry but not gonna quit.
