Tonight was my not-so-triumphant return to bartending school. I basically wanted to claw my eyes out from boredom. And I'm not sure I would even go get a job with it. But a few more days and then it's DONE. Why am I such a wuss?

Oh, and I need an idea for making my tall ceilings awesome, without being too busy or making this place even more claustrophobic (or costing me my lease). Fabric, paper lanterns, beer can chandelier, old movie posters, astroturf.... I need some suggestions. Will even accept facetious suggestions on this one, I'm that desperate.

You could suspend a complex system of dark and light blue fabric that you change with pulleys when you decide whether you want it to be day or night. Like the ceiling at Hogwarts but tactile.

Extra points for hanging glow in the dark stars and planets.

i had a blast in bartending school, but it was mainly due to my old scottish teacher. that dude was the absolute picture of what a classy old drunk should be, he was an inspiration for my future, washed-up self.

am i going to have to outbid a bunch of douchebags on iilwy just to get on your contact list?
