So not the start I was looking forward to this weekend.

We got held up in traffic on the ring road, which means our oldest son gets hungry well before we had expected.
Queue food stop.
back on the road.
My other son decides that despite his nearly perfect history of sleeping on long trips, he is awake and hungry. Now we have to find somewhere to heat a bottle.

We finally get to the accommodation about an hour later than planned (and we had accounted for a food break)
Now my oldest doesn't want to sleep in the "big bed" but we only have one porta cot.
Finally get him to sleep as the other one starts to grizzle.
So now instead of a nice evening with my wife and some new toys (including a nice new riding crop I bought for her birthday) we have a six month old between us.

Fingers crossed tomorrow works out better .
