Much love to those who have suffered and lost in London.

I just wanted to add that there are two large themes I take away from a barbaric act of fascist fanatacism like this:

1) That tragedy does bring out some of the most noble qualities in humankind. The stories of the victims helping one another and Londoners coming together through all of this inspire me to make the small acts of helpfulness in my own day-to-day life.

2) I am grateful for those whose professions involve sacrifice for the greater good; from the EMTs, firemen and law enforcement responding to the blast sites to the people out there working to stop these kinds of attacks before they happen, they all have my gratitude and respect.

It is not easy to work with human suffering and/or the depths of human misery.

I agree. I just wish people could work together like that all the time...the world would be a much better place.

Well, actually all I did was turn my head when everyone started laughing. Thanks for the words of concern as well as Musashi's. I took the book of 5 rings with me to Slovenia for a bit of enlightenment as well.
