Oh Jah Jah, I see that comin, and I dont know where to turn.
The last week and a half has been overly long, and I'm now counting the days until I leave SF to move back to my Once and Future Home. Partings really are sweet sorrow, and this one is starting to feel really real. Jah guide.
Any time you leave a place that you like that has been good for you there are going to be mixed feelings. But SF is urging me along-- if I thought there was going to be some kind of "don't go" response, where the City really showed out for me during this last stretch I was wrong. It is not a bang but a whimper of too much work and not enough friends.
This weekend? I hope to spend it talking to Sophie, watching movies, a sauna and massage, Pain Hill, conditioning drills, good food, good books and some good sleep. Hell, I might even go see Star Wars, with or without the clique. I hear they kill them some Jedis in that there movie.
Come Sunday May 29th, I am on a plane taking a one-way trip to Kansas.
