Way too long since my last blog.
So what have i been up to i hear you not ask?
Well, for the last 6ish weeks i have left Australia and been travelling around the US & Canada.
I started off in New York, my first time over there and maybe like a lot of other i was blown away by what faced me. I always felt as though i had a 'connection' for lack of a better term with NY... I dont know why, but it had the effect i was as i expecting. I only had 8 or so days there but i did stick around for New Years Eve, not in Times Square though as that place is absolute madness and needed to be avoided at that time of year. I ended up at some local spot in SOHO next door to my apartment. All in a fucken great city, and i left with the feeling of immediately wanting to return. A city that feels like home amongst 20 million strangers.
From there i went over to Vancouver, to meet up with some mates and snowboard as much as possible, some sweet times for sure. Rented a car after that and headed south with the final destination to be vegas... Seemed like a good idea at the time. Shit did get weird in Vegas but i guess thats expected. Now i'm sitting in a friends apartment back in Vancouver waiting to get my flight(s) home tomorrow.
Oh and i fucken hate flying despite how much i actually already fly for work as it is. So i'm really not looking forward to the 3 planes i will be stuck on whist my anxiety takes over. Not much i can do though.
Anyways, i may follow this up with some pics at some point.
