citrine

so i'm off to good old halifax in the morning. i'm working at a christmas craft show at Dalhousie. i'm sure it's going to be fun. i worked it last year too and had a really good time seeing family and friends. but this year i'm not staying with my sister, it's too long of a cab ride (she lives in fairview). so i'm staying in a hotel with a pool and hot tub! yes that is the high light of this trip like i've said before i'm easily amused.

kind of sad, i don't want to leave mortimar for the whole weekend. mortimar is colby's cat and i'm taking care of him while colby is in Ecuador. if anything happens to that cat he will have my head! he's a really old cat to like ten or so! speaking of colby, i actually got to talk to him on the phone on monday!!! the connection wasn't very good at all but it was just nice to hear his voice. i miss him so much. living alone can really suck sometimes, my bed seems so huge and i haven't had a full nights sleep since he left. but he will be back before i know it! i do have a roommate but he works nights and i work days, so it's like living with a ghost but it's the best kind of roommate to have in my opinion.
