Well that was a hell of a long week, hardly seems like it was only 4 days long. You'd think it would be the kids (being that they are all emotionally damaged, mentally challenged, most of them are violent to some extent for one reason or another) who make my weeks so long, but no, the kids are angels compared to the childish little tart in the next room who seems to take great pleasure in sowing chaos between the other staff. So after four days of putting out fires and generally enjoying a situation not unlike high school, or at least my unpleasant memories of high school. Some people fucking kids..... time to grow up and have a little professionalism. We're supposed to be a fucking example to these kids.
On a brighter note, I have a date tomorrow, like an honest to goodness 80% blind date. We've exchanged emails through [name removed pending sponsorship offer] but thats the extent of it. We seem to have quite a bit in common, so thats a plus, still a bit nervous... ah well, nothing ventured nothing gained
