Things I have done this week....
Ordered my first Mac since high school.... very excited should be here Tuesday It is small and probably under powered but it should suit my needs, and it means I will have one that I don;t share with the younglings.
Finally getting around to watching Chocolate- so far pretty good, nothing like an autistic girl with super martial arts powers.
Almost have a first draft done... almost... and a new idea forming.
Wondering what my daughter meant by strange brain noises keeping her awake.... oh well after the week she had not surprised.
Met my new student, seems to be a high functioning aut buried under a few other birth defects, a bunch of abuse, and one hell of a seizure disorder. cute kid, over protective mom (w/ good reason), dad is on another planet.
Spent most of the week, cleaning up the mess made by a coworker. Hope someone explained to her why I left the room, when she said Space Dad (see above) was just the way men were with their kids. SERIOUSLY!!!!! not my last run in with her unfortunately....
was overheard talking to co-worker about my troubles with Disney Mom, the eavesdropper suggested I pray on it. I needed a laugh, told and my thoughts, give a man to fish, he eats for a day;teach a man to fish he eats for a lifetime; pray for fish, watch a man starve to death. Calmly suggested she mind her own damn business.
