Ah well...

Back from PrincessPeachy's castle... and the world feels a little drained of color. It really was the best time I've had in... well... a long time.... a really long time. I"ll let you wander over to her blogs if you want the details. She does these things much better than I. I'm happy to be back here with the kids, but I feel stretched knowing that my love is so far away.

My students make it better of course, sometimes you forget how a little thing like a postcard can matter to a kid who has probably never gotten a piece of mail in his life. I teach kids with major behavioral disorders, so know that while my nicknames might seem mean, I really mean them with nothing but love. The Goon acted like he hadn't seen me in years and Charlie Bucket rode around on my back for an hour. They might be monsters, but they are MY monsters dammit.

In other news... I forgot how much I enjoy a good war comics. If you like em too, so yourself a favor and go pick up the new Men of War series that DC is publishing.
