AT that point wrenches stopped wrenching, drills stopped drilling, hammers stopped hammering, welders stopped welding, presses stopped pressing and the whole cacophony stopped, really abruptly. It was scary.

Holy Shit! There is no provision on a late model block for a mechanical clutch. We all went into Holy Shit! mode.
