internet service has been restored! woot! and it only took me the last half an hour to catch up with all the news i missed in various journal entries. arg. may i never loose my only connection to the outside world for that long again.
not really much to tell. for the last week i've basically hidden from the heat in my basement, with the exception of yesterday, when one of my best gal pals from high school and i filled up her old kiddie pool and sat in in drinking coolers for the better part of the afternoon. yay coolers and sunshine. boo weird sunshine-induced-rash-thingers. which i now have on my back. i'm yiccky.
i'm also sad that one of my only friends who lives in this godforsaken town is away counselling at a summer camp for another week. my social life had dropped from "pathetic" to "non-existent".
i weep.
also: is anyone else weirded out by people who ask to be added to your friends list without ever saying hello or posting on your journal? or is that just me?
