i just got up, went to the kitchen, grabbed come scissors and chopped off my hair. my hands are shaking from the adrenaline.
i had promised to grow it out until i graduated uni - i always want to have long flowing hair, but not because that's who i am - because that's who i want to be. and fuck that. i'm really really really tired of shoving myself into the mold i construct inside my head.
i feel fucking awesome.
i am going to dye it either blue or fire engine red tomorrow. pictures will be forthcoming.
edited to add : i looked in the mirror after putting the finishing touches on my recent follicular length adjustment and the first thought that popped into my head was:
"hello self. it is good to see you again."
