i worked an 8 hour day serving subs and smiling nicely at stupid old people. and then got shafted by not one, but two sets of friends.
i called one friend, who said she didn't want to do anything tonight as she was just staying home and then going over to another friends to watch a movie. here's a tip: "if you're going to lie to me about what your plans are so we don't have to hang out DON'T GAS UP YOUR CAR AT THE STATION I WORK AT!!!" that was, at least, amusing, if crappy.
and then two of my other friends came in, and made plans to pick me up at my house after work to go to the bar. around 11:15. it is now quarter to one.

why do i expect people to be decent when i am continually presented with evidence to the contrary?
