today in the life of cirdt:
-i discovered i fit into my old denim mini-skirt again! downsizing cirdt is a happy cirdt.
-unfortunately i only discovered this because an acquaintance has decided she wants to have her birthday celebration at one of the huge, western-themed, meat markets of our fair city, so i needed something appropriately "tramp-country" to wear. gag. don't get me wrong, i have nothing against a little twangy music or two stepping, but i hate going out to these crowded, trendy places where each girl is blonder, thinner, and more airheaded than the last. i hate it even more because at various points in my life i have been that girl, and it makes me cringe in memory.
-i just arranged to have flowers delivered to my mom at work today for her birthday. i am CLEARLY the best daughter ever. of course, that little expenditure pretty much took care of my GST rebate cheque, but whatevs. it is worth it in AWESOME!
-when i go to my friday class today, it will mark a MOMENTOUS occasion in my history. namely, i will have attended an ENTIRE WEEK OF CLASSES! i know it's kind of redonk, but i'm pretty sure i've never made it an entire week without skipping something before.
-ha, watch, now that i've said that i'm totally going to go back to sleep and miss class
