i made a deal with the karaoke dj that i'd sing leonard cohen. one half-sober rendition of "Suzanne" later i am drinking water at home in the hopes of being coherent tomorrow. gah. i want to call in sick, but then all i'd have to do all day is meander maudlin and watch bbc period pieces.
