and hurrah for you, for getting to move out on your own next year. as much as i've loved my roomies in the past & as well as we got along - there is just so much relief in shedding them. in fact, i get along w/them MUCH BETTER now that they're not my roommates anymore ....
in terms of conferences that i'm attending - i'm actually attending academic conferences, political science conferences. i have one next week in portland, where i'm presenting a paper. and i also have one in .... april. and i've sent off abstracts for a couple next year. so nothing exciting - just school.... heheheh
and yea i love me some campus activism. i loved making noise when i was an undergraduate. i totally support it - it makes a campus a good, lively place. it helps the development of political consciousness of those involved. but ya know, it's usually also a little misdirected. and that's ok. campus activism just makes me bittersweet
